The 2023 Chesapeake 20 season is looking to be packed! This year, we are reviving our annual awards that have laid dormant since 2008. These trophies and their competitions form what will be called the Annual Awards Circuit. These events will be our focus, as we try to build attendance back up to 8+ boats. We will continue to participate in WRSC's Sunday Series, friendly reminder it takes 3 boats to get a start for these! New for 2023 are WRSC's river tours. These will be pursuit-style distance races. Any boat can participate solo as long as they have a time to start. We think these will be well liked by Chesapeake 20 sailors and help new boat owners and crews get comfortable enough to race around the buoys.
